Are there laws about environmental protection in Vietnam?
Without a doubt, there are a considerable number of laws, regulations and guidelines on environmental conservation in Vietnam but I’m afraid the enforcement of these laws isn’t strong enough. Added to this, lenient punishments may also explain why littering, Illegal dumping of hazardous waste, poor sustainability practices as well as wildlife trafficking are still relatively common.
What kinds of rules are there in Vietnamese schools?
I’d say that basically there are two kinds of rules implemented in educational institutions around Vietnam. The first one is codes of conduct or codes of ethics that govern behaviours of students, educators and even students’ parents at school. This set of rules is critical because without them, misconducts such as cheating on exams, disrespectful behaviours, classroom disruptions and child abuse would be prevalent. Another common type of regulations in schools is the dress code which clearly states what kinds of uniform or outfits students and teachers should wear.
What can teachers do to make students obey the rules?
Well, this isn’t something I’ve ever considered but I suppose the best method is teaching by example. It’s crucial for teachers to fulfill all their duties as well as the promises they’ve made to their students. This way, children will respect them and voluntarily follow their lead. Additionally, educators should strive to nurture an inspiring learning environment by incorporating humour and fun into their instructions and guidance. This could make students more willing to comply with rules and regulations.
What should parents do to educate children about laws?
Well, as I mentioned the most effective way is for adults to set a good example themselves. If parents violate or disrespect the law, their child might follow the same path. Moreover, it’s critical to set clear rules and limits to discipline children from a very young age. If they are properly taught to differentiate between right and wrong and be aware of their rights and responsibilities, they will become dutiful citizens later.
