Have you visited an old building?

Yes, I’ve visited many historical buildings and sites. Last year I took a trip to Hanoi and spent a whole day wandering around the Old Quarter and the French Quarter where I could see charming traditional houses and colonial buildings.

Do you prefer living in an old building or a new building?

A new building absolutely. Old houses are worth visiting but I don’t fancy living in such buildings since they might be too old and shabby, and thus require huge maintainence costs.

Are there any old buildings you would like to visit?

Yes, I have a lot of them on my bucket list actually. However if I could only visit one of them, then I would pick the Eiffel Tower. It’s an iconic symbol of Paris and it’s very photogenic too.

Should old buildings be preserved?

I do think so. Major historical buildings represent a crucial part of our cultural heritage so they deserve to be preserved. They tell us a great deal about the lifestyles of bygone eras On top of that, traditional architecture is distinct from region to region, which attracts tourists. But then again, not all old buildings should be maintained or restored I’d say.
