Do you like to lend things to others?
Yes, I’m happy to lend and share things but only with those I can trust. I’ve had some painful experience with people borrowing my stuff and returning it in an awful condition or even worse, I can never get it back.
Have you ever lent a book to others?
Definitely. When I graduated from university, I had a ton of books on English learning and I lent out all to my friends and students.
Have you ever borrowed money from someone else?
Sure. I started my first business 4 years ago and I ran out of money right at the end of the first year due to poor investments. My sister had to lend me some to cover me until I saw some profit.
Have you ever borrowed a book from others?
I have. Once I liked a novel so much but in Vietnam we could only find a Vietnamese version. Luckily, my uncle had bought an English copy of it during his trip to Europe, so I asked him to borrow it for two weeks.
Would you lend money to someone else?
Yes, I know how depressing and desperate being broke is. For a small amount, I would never think twice. However, I wouldn’t lend out a large sum of money to people I can’t trust or those who are not close to me.
