Right, I guess I should start by telling you what the activity is. Well, I’ve been a massive fan of marine life, so I would opt for scuba diving.
I was born and raised in a coastal village and the sea has remained my most spectacular and mysterious world. I remember when I was a kid, I was obsessed with mermaid fairy tales and science-fiction films about the ocean, especially an Australian TV series called “Ocean Girl“. It depicts the life of a girl with supernatural powers. She can dive in the ocean without any supporting equipment and communicate with whales without any language barriers.
I was so captivated by it that I decided to add scuba diving to my bucket list.
It must be fantastic to be able to swim leisurely among sea creatures and watch stunning coral reefs. The thing is there are no diving facilities in Hanoi so I suppose I would need to take some time off and travel to Nha Trang or Phu Quoc where certified diving centres are widely available. For sure, learning to dive is not a walk in the park and I must go through rigorous training. However, with my endless passion, I believe I will master scuba diving skills within a few weeks and fulfill my dream of exploring the deep ocean. I’m so excited about this plan.
