Câu trả lời mẫu Ielts Speaking chủ đề Sleep
How many hours do you sleep every day (or, every night)?
Around 7 hours per day I think. My work can be hectic sometimes and I might stay up late on weekdays but I would sleep in during the weekends to make up for that.
Do you think it’s good to have a nap during the day?
I do think so. Modern life is becoming more and more stressful with a lot of screen time so a quick nap is a great way to recharge our body and let our eyes relax for a short while.
Did you sleep more in the past than you do now?
I am not so sure. I did sleep a lot when I was young. However when I got into university and lived in a campus, I used to stay up all night, just like many other students. Now I’m more aware of getting enough sleep every day.
Do you think old people need more sleep than young people?
On the contrary. My mom usually goes to bed at the same time with me but she gets up very early in the morning. Also, she tends to wake up in the middle of the night more often than me. I believe our bodies naturally need less sleep when we get older.
Have your sleeping habits changed since you were younger?
Definitely. I’ve experienced significant changes in my sleeping routine when I grow older. I tend to stay up late more often and I’m no longer able to get straight to sleep.
Do you think it’s important to have enough sleep (each day/night)?
Absolutely. Having enough sleep is crucial to our physical and mental health. And it’s not just the quantity but also the quality that matters. I always feel chirpy and energetic in the morning when I get sound sleep the night before.
