Have you ever had a pet?
I have. Actually, I grew up with cats and dogs around. The one I love the most is a German shepherd my uncle gave me on my 6th birthday. My childhood would not have been so wonderful without him. I cried my heart out the day he was stolen.
Do many people in your country have a pet?
I guess so. I am not sure about other cities but I do see a lot of people walking their dogs in my neighbourhood every morning or late afternoon. In the countryside, almost all families have cats to keep mice away and dogs to guard their houses and befriend with children.
Is there any animal you would like to have as a pet?
I am unable to keep a pet now due to my hectic schedule but I’d love to have one or two dogs as my future family members.
(hectic = very busy)
What animal(s) would you not like to have as a pet?
A pig, definitely. I know I’m a little biased but I find it weird to have a pig on the same bed or couch with me.
